Hob not working

• When pressing the control buttons, follow the instructions in the section “Using the hob” in the

enclosed “Product Description Sheet”.

• Is there a power failure?

• Did you dry the hob carefully after cleaning it?

1. If a ring has been selected and an “F” or “ER” appears on the display followed by a number,

contact the Customer care centre.

With the exception of the message “F03” or “ER03” that signals the incorrect cleaning of the

controls area.

To solve the problem, follow the instructions in the paragraph on “Cleaning and maintenance of the

glass ceramic hob”.

2. If one of the following codes appears when you press the ignition button on the hob: F12, F13, F22,

F25, F31, F36, F47, E2, E5, E6, E7, E9, contact the Customer Care Centre and tell them which code

appears.

3. If the hob does not work after intensive use, it means that the temperature inside the hob is too high.

Wait for a few minutes until the hob cools down. The display shows the “F21” code.

Important!

If you cannot turn off the ceramic hob after use, unplug the appliance from the electricity supply

immediately and call the Customer Care Centre.

Troubleshooting guide

Before contacting the Customer Care Centre

1. Check the "Troubleshooting guide" to see if the problem can be

resolved quickly.

2. Turn off the appliance and switch back on to see if the fault is

repeated.

If after carrying out the above checks, the fault persists, contact the

Customer Care Centre.

Please give:

• a short description of the fault;

• the precise type and model of the hob;

• the service number (the number after the word Service on the

date plate), located under the hob. The service number can also

be found in the warranty booklet;

- your full address;

- your telephone number.

Note: failure to comply with these instructions could seriously

compromise the safety and quality of the hob.
